Meridian LMS Advisory Council

Meridian's Advisory Council (MAC) is a team of customers who have agreed to lend their expertise to shape how Meridian builds future versions of not only the Meridian Global LMS but also other products (e.g., Meridian Workforce Analytics, etc.). Meridian selects MAC members based on their experience with and passion for learning and learning management systems. Membership is voluntary and members are not compensated for their participation.

Each MAC member serves a one- to two-year term, and is asked to contribute their advice and feedback regularly, so Meridian can enhance its LMS products for all users. For more information or to inquire about joining the MAC, contact Vinay Nilakantan at vnilakantan@meridianksi.com.

Meridian’s current MAC members include:

	Art Barlow Art is the Learning and Development Manager for Land O'Lakes, one of America's premiere member-owned cooperatives and a leading marketer of dairy-based food products for consumers, foodservice professionals and food manufacturers. In his current role, he manages online and classroom offerings, leadership development programs, onboarding and learning technologies. He has been a member of Meridian's Advisory Council since June 2011. He has been a Meridian customer since 2006.
	Kent Jones Kent is Director of Training Systems and Implementation for Sodexo, a global provider of Quality of Daily Life Solutions, including integrated food and facilities management services. In his current role, he manages the delivery of classroom training and elearning to over 20,000 managers and professionals across North America. Kent has been a member of Meridian's Advisory Council since June 2011. He has been a Meridian customer since 2008..
	Scott Keit Scott is Senior Manager for Motorola Solutions, which provides business- and mission-critical communication products and services to enterprises and governments. In his current role, he manages all learning systems for the global learning organization. He has been a member of Meridian's Advisory Council since June 2011. He has been a Meridian customer since 2010.
	Shawn Shanahan Shawn is Manager, Training & Development Systems for the Railroad Education & Development division of CSX, which is one of the nation's leading transportation suppliers.  The company’s rail and intermodal businesses provide rail-based transportation services including traditional rail service and the transport of intermodal containers and trailers. In his current role he is responsible for the enterprise Learning Management System called TrainingTrax, which contains over 5,000,000 training records, 90,000 registered user accounts, and a catalog of 12,000 courses.  He directs the implementation of enhancements and process improvement to training systems, and oversees all aspects of course delivery, tracking, and reporting.  Shawn has been a member of Meridian's Advisory Council since June 2011 and a Meridian customer since July of 2009.
	Jason Tarbet Jason is Program Manager for the FBI Virtual Academy, a premier learning and research center and an advocate for best practices throughout the global criminal justice community. In his current role, he manages all new software development efforts to apply technology solutions to any of the FBI's training needs. Jason has been a member of Meridian's Advisory Council since June 2011. He has been a Meridian customer since 2003.
