Jason Marceau, Chief Operations Officer
Jason is chief operations officer for Meridian Knowledge Solutions. As a member of the executive leadership team, Jason oversees planning, strategy, operations and finance. His direct responsibilities include product development, cloud operations, professional services, customer satisfaction and customer support.
Jason’s work at Meridian has helped the company: earn an increased year-over-year customer retention rate, win back-to-back awards for the world’s best enterprise learning management system and increase revenue and profitability annually. While at Meridian, Jason and his colleagues have consulted on and implemented large-scale systems for more than 100 of the world’s best-known private- and public-sector employers. With a mix of vision, leadership and industry knowledge, he has improved Meridian’s corporate performance while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Since joining Meridian in 2005, Jason has managed the professional services group as its director and overseen finance and customer support as vice president of operations. He speaks on the topic of learning and performance management and technology for various learning and development industry organizations.
Prior to Meridian, he held leadership roles at Qwest Communications where his teams implemented and migrated large telecommunications networks. Jason has a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Vinay Nilakantan, Vice President - Product Management and Marketing
Vinay and his team manage the development of Meridian’s flagship product, the Meridian Global LMS, as well as the company’s learning-management mobile and analytics tools. Vinay also defines the product path and oversees quality assurance for the LMS software maker. Vinay’s prior role was as the company’s director of commercial and government accounts, a team that implements Meridian’s learning management system. Since joining Meridian in 2004, Vinay has successfully implemented enterprise editions of Meridian's Learning Management System (LMS) for some of America's largest employers. Vinay also led the effort to put in place a skills assessment solution for one of the federal government's largest competency management projects. As one of Meridian's senior directors, he is a member of the VIP Meridian Leadership Group, which charts the strategic direction for Meridian's products and services.
Before Meridian, Vinay held a variety of senior-level project management roles with both software makers and services firms.
Vinay graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Madras in India. He also holds a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute. |

Geoff Perry, Senior Director of Software Development and Hosted Solutions
Geoff manages Meridian's software development, quality control and hosting teams. His implementation teams are responsible for ensuring technically sound LMS solutions are deployed for customers of all sizes. Geoff brings his deep understanding of the software development industry to bear in serving Meridian's private- and public-sector client base. Since joining Meridian in 2002, Geoff and his teams have received numerous commendations for customer satisfaction, which have helped to build Meridian's reputation as a top-ranked provider of customer service.
Geoff is also a member of the VIP Meridian Leadership Group, which sets the strategy and direction for Meridian's operations, products and services.
He received his bachelor's degree in computer information systems from James Madison University. |
Travis L. Hudelson, Vice President of Sales
As vice president of sales, Travis guides day-to-day operations as well as long-term strategy for Meridian's global sales organization. Travis brings more than 25 years of experience in managing complex sales of human capital technology solutions to corporations as well as federal, state and local governments.
Prior to joining Meridian, he held executive and sales roles at Saba Software, SumTotal Systems and USWeb where he successfully created and developed sales teams. Since co-founding MicroVideo Learning Systems in the mid 1980s, where he led the team developing the first networkable digital video for software training, Travis has been a thought leader and innovator in learning technology.
Travis earned his bachelor's degree in English from Colorado College.
