October 4, 2011 - The third time's the charm for Meridian. After two years as a runner-up in Elearning! magazine's "Best Enterprise-based LMS" category, this year the Meridian Global LMS has won.

September 19, 2011 - For the third consecutive year, readers of Elearning! Magazine nominated the Meridian Global LMS (Learning Management System) for a Best of Elearning! Excellence Award in the category "Best Enterprise-based LMS." Meridian was one of only three companies worldwide to receive a nomination in this year's Enterprise LMS group.

August 16, 2011 - The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) uses a learning management system (LMS) to run a lottery. Winning the lottery won't land you a $1 million. But if you're a member of the union, the lottery will help you get a seat in one of the more than 1,000 course sections the union's Local 32BJ Thomas Shortman Training, Scholarship and Safety Fund runs each year for 85,000 eligible members.
