Meridian Names Marceau Chief Operations Officer
Herndon, Va. - January 28, 2013 - Meridian Knowledge Solutions has promoted Jason Marceau to chief operations officer, a newly created position for the maker of human capital management software. Marceau had been vice president of operations for Meridian. As Meridian's top-ranking executive, Marceau will oversee planning, strategy, operations and finance at the company.
Since joining Meridian in 2005, Marceau has managed the professional services group as its director and overseen finance and customer support as vice president of operations. While Marceau was director of professional services, Chief Learning Officer magazine presented Meridian with a customer service excellence award for helping the U.S. Customs and Border Protection service.
Before joining Meridian, Marceau held leadership roles at Qwest Communications where his teams implemented and migrated large telecommunications networks. Marceau has a bachelor's degree in marketing management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
